These guys Andrew Romano and Tony Dokoupil are douche bags.

I wouldn't say I'm the most manly man, but I sure as hell don't own work boots, a skill saw and a hammer to APPEAR manly, even though I work in an office. I use those things to build stuff. As all manly men should be able to do when the need arises.

Oh and the "hunters concealed weapon" is just another stereotype believed by liberal idiots. They think the only people who own guns are flannel wearing hunters. They don't realize that plenty of "non hunters" have concealed weapons.

Well let's see I've got a CWP and I don't hunt. Must mean I carry to make myself feel manly.

My prediction:
January 1, 2011. Women rule the world.
February 1, 2011. The world is ruled by spiders in bathrooms.
They don't realize that plenty of "non hunters" have concealed weapons.
Plenty of non-men, too. My 70 year old mother is Exhibit A, as is my 91 year old GRANDMOTHER!!!

the women in your family rock.

I have only been able to enlighten the GF, although I do have some female friends who carry (and don't hunt).

I neglected to mention my 45 year old sister. Mom and Sis carry a .38 spcl snubbie. My grandmother prefers a .32acp that was given to her by my grandfather AS A WEDDING PRESENT! :D

Too many men have been brainwashed into not enjoying being a man. Back in the long, long ago - before I became a boring tax revenue generator - I liked working in laboratories, racing cars, fencing, archery, strongman, fishing, hunting, sailing, and powerlifting - someone made a joke that the definition of man was "See "Aglifter".

Which is was messed up. I didn't do those things trying to portray myself as a man, but because I was a young man, relatively unfettered by public opinion, I did things I liked.

The idea that you are supposed to enjoy sitting around, going to parties w. your SO, poisoning your body, and pushing buttons to make the lights flash properly (video games), is a lie. They are diversions from actually enjoying yourself. When I was in that state, I started womanizing because "That's what 20 something young men want to do" - and that was also a lie.

As far as I'm concerned, a real man does whatever the hell he likes and doesn't need to question the manliness of it, whatever it is.

A man who does things to prove how manly he is, isn't!

Your goal is "Bacon & Waffles," or wifey, not proving your manliness.

BTW, is "Bacon & Waffles" a code phrase for "let's do the wild thing" with your wifey, and does she know it?

On second thought, I don't want to know.
