Um... No -- Not as I recall...

The game was interesting - thanks for sharing - but maddening and disconcerting as well...

I've gotta say, though -- if you've never been high you really oughta try it once. While I haven't in a very long time, I believe it to be harmless in the right context, and thus something all should experience so as to better judge the conflict over prohibition/decriminalization.

You might suspect I support decriminalization - and you'd be right. The WAR against pot is not only misguided and a colossal failure, but utter tyrannical stupidity.

I live with debilitating, chronic pain. I'd have eaten my gun YEARS ago if it weren't for medicines that dull this pain a bit, but my life is rendered nigh unbearable by the side-effects of said meds. The simple FACT - which I know from ancient, personal experience, is that a small amount of a natural substance could not only do an equivalent job of dulling my pain, but eliminate the side-effects as well.

Despite irrefutable, scientific evidence of the efficacy of this herbal remedy, I dare not avail myself of its relief because of the potential for life-altering penalties and consequences due to the diktat of tyrants in the employ of the alcohol and pharmaceutical lobbies -- the REAL reason for prohibition.

This is a travesty.

Frankly, even if there were no medical benefits at all, and relaxation and mild euphoria were the only result obtained by suffering people, is that so horrible that we should continue to release violent criminals from prison to free space for these cannabis-criminals?

This WAR is an utter waste of our money, our resources, and hundreds of thousands of otherwise productive human lives.

Most tellingly, those who most vehemently oppose its decriminalization have never even tried it - and hence know nothing whatsoever about the subject.

Rational disagreement is welcome, but *PLEASE* spare me the usualfear-mongering over stoned school-bus-drivers, pilots, etc. Nobody I know is suggesting anyone be allowed to work, drive or otherwise endanger anyone else while high.

No desire to be stoned - I wake up screaming enough as it is, w.o. the need for mind-altering chemicals. (although a reformed pot-head in lawschool said the current crop is supposed to be many, many times more potent that the old hippie stuff.)

I don't support the war on drugs, at least on weed and coke - Meth and Crack seem to MAKE people violent - but... Oddly, I didn't find the game that disconcerting - tiring, but I think I actually have an easier time w. it than regular Tetris - until my eyes got tired.
