I grew up on the Mississippi, and crafted several log-rafts to sail the creek behind our house.

I might have to wait until it's all published to read it.

At over 500,000 words, might as well pick up Vol 1 while waiting on the other 2.

I have no idea how these things work, but I wonder why this would not be considered to be in the public domain.
I know that Louis L'Amour ran into trouble when he didn't renew some of his copyrights after 25 years.
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Current law is 75 years after the original publication date, renewable to 75 years after the death of the author.
Since this is the FIRST time it's been pubished in it's entirety...
