The Gun Counter

Life isn’t fair. Really it isn’t, Vince thought to himself as he tried to understand why he had been stuck in an elevator for over twelve hours. His stomach rumbled as it reminded him he had no idea when he had eaten last.

Disasters seemed to follow Vince no matter where he went. He had been on vacation in the Bahamas when Hurricane Jezebel hit. No sooner had he boarded the first available plane out of the ravaged island the fates were aligning against him. The business trip to his companies southern Chilean grape plantations put him smack dab in the middle of a massive earthquake.

The more he thought about FEMA and the Red Cross should really just follow his movements to predict the next disaster. Vince was getting sick of it. He really had no idea how he was going to get out of this one. All he had on him was a small pocket knife, and the blue light from his watch and a few dangerously maxed out credit cards. If only the infected reacted to credit cards like his bank accounts.

Zombies! Chapter 2!

This chapter has...Guns, and zombies, and flamethrowers! Okay so there aren't any flamethrowers... yet.

So I was screwing around with Gimp and figured I needed a better title than ZOMBIES!

ZOMBIES! Or Infected? Chapter 4 is now available for your reading pleasure. I have now begun the "Red Shirt" experiment. One of the new characters in this chapter is a Red Shirt. A member of WeTheArmed.com gave me the characters name and a little bit of info about him and I put him in the story as someone who meets an untimely end. I'll let you guess who it is.

If you want to become a Red Shirt, please post it in the comments and I'll think about it. I'd like a name, some equipment, weapons, training, profession, and what not. ;D

Age: Early 20s
Kit: Ruger P345/Fullsize .45 ACP of your choice, Larry Mahan cowboy boots, brown leather please. Jeans/black t-shirt, and dirty baseball hat while we're at it
Condition: I'm going to opt to not give him a BOB. If he gets a long gun, you're welcome to choose, a plain jane WASR-10 or something similar will be plenty.
Bio: Part time college student/part time construction worker, shoots occasionally, carries concealed when not in class. He can operate bucket loaders, excavators etc.

The rest is up to you! By the way, your writing keeps pushing me closer and closer to start writing myself, I'm realllllly bad with finishing more than say a page or two, but I'm certainly feeling inspired, and may try some short stories. So thank you.
