i was pleasently surprised that the video isnt anti-american and anti-troops
sounds like metallica might actually be making good music again.

I have the album and think it rocks. It is a good album and is true to Metallica that you never know what you will get from them. They are talented people and since I'm not fu**ing any of them I could care less what their views on life or any thing else are .They make good music and i listen to good music so we have a good relationship. Everyone always seems to expect this that or the other from them. It's good music, that is what they do.
If you made donuts, I'd expect you to make good donuts. If you did not I'd buy donuts somewhere else.
But I bet your donuts would be pretty good.

CByrneIV wrote:No joke, even if the music were good (I disagree with you there, it's not metallica, it's metallica trying to cash in one more time by appealing to the MTVMetal crowd) it's so overcompressed that it's completely unlistenable.
So when did Metallica move on after 91, after Cliff..? I actually, looking at the full catalogue, think Megadeth has surpassed them (which I know is blasphemy). They have more songs and albums I like (and Dave doesn't have Lars to screw up the band).

Yup.
Master Of Puppets was probably their best Album. To me,
And Justice For All reeked of crass commercialism.
