Interesting read. It's about how quick an economic collapse can happen and it's ramifications. The story ends abruptly, but it's a good read. I read it in two sittings as I was glued to it.
The writer is some type of economist/finance guy.. He's one of the few that predicted the real estate collapse from what I can tell. I haven't really had the time to research him thoroughly as I received the link from my brother and immediately jumped into the story. His handle is John Galt. heh heh

Great stuff - been following since early-on. I *thought* I'd posted it here, either way folks could sure use the reminder. Personally I think it's a FAIRLY accurate picture of what will come...

I understand why he wrote it that way, but still...

I'm a little more than half way through. Do you guys think the government plans described here could be designed and prepared for without whistleblowers/leaks causing all sorts of wailing and gnashing of teeth before it ever had a chance to be used? I’m really asking.

Yes.
No question.
Many things have been kept under wraps over the years, ESPECIALLY when those involved were true-believers.
Such plans are already in place - maybe not exactly as depicted, but plan nonetheless.
What do you think all those "fusion centers" are about?
Personally, I'm inclined to suspect some of the spate of resignations are related...

Fusion centers?

Okay. I just looked up fusion centers. I see what you mean. I still think the weak link in something like this is the manpower. I'd like to think there are enough people in the population needed to pull this off that would not follow orders when it hit the fan. At which point I am hopeful that the military, which I assume would be the last resort, would not subject fellow americans to the things described in the story. Wishful thinking?
