Next on NBC: "Sh*t My Dad Says!"

Post by Dedicated_Dad »

For those not familiar, "Sh*t My Dad Says" may be THE funniest thing on the 'net* - which of course meant SOME network (being TOTALLY out of original ideas) had to turn it into some likely un-funny TV.

With that background, I'm not sure how I feel about telling you that

NBC has cast The Shat to star in the TV version.

I expect it will be titled "Sh*t The Shat Says" - or Something...

WTF?

They do realize that the funniest parts about that twitter feed will never make it past the network censors, right?

And Shatner is absolutely the wrong actor to play this. This would be a perfect role for Kurtwood Smith(Remember Red Forman?) or Dennis Franz.

My vote goes to Wilford Brimley. His role in "Absence of Malice" was pure gold!

Nope. Smith and Franz are both still alive and are, in fact younger than Shatner.

Hell Wilford Brimley is younger than Shatner.

Thought Brimley was the one who kicked off after making commercials involving eating pine cones, or trees, or maybe just seeds. Who was it then?

Wilfred Brimley is alive and selling diabetes stuff on television. I think Robert Duvall would be perfect but I'm pretty sure he'd shoot anyone who offered the part.
