You can shrink small(socalled golf ball dents) dents by applying small quantities of dry ice. I've heard it done two ways - swirling around the perimeter of the dent, moving in as the dent shrinks, and applying(probably as "snow") to the backside of the dent. This doesn't work too well on deep dents or creases.
Dry ice is terribly useful stuff.
