And it limits my ability to skip the crap, limits how much I can listen, and insists I sign up, which I hate to do.

I go to Last.FM, type in what I want to hear, and then push the I'm listening button every 45 minutes to an hour. Problem solved.

The big difference between Pandora and last.fm is that Pandora finds similar music with that music genome project. Last.fm is based off what other people "scrobble". So if a lot of people that listen to Motorhead also listen to Anthrax then that becomes a similar band and gets played on Motorhead radio.

I like them both although I lean toward Pandora more because it plays on my phone without a subscription.

Great, cause whiny emo kids and perky, bubbly wannabes is, quite frankly, the top demographic we need to be recruiting. I don't deal with enough "my-mamma/boyfriend/whatever-didn't-love-me-enough..." all day.

Time to write a new verse for "My Generation":

Old farts sneer and call it trash
But I just laugh and count my c-c-c-cash
Spectacle makes the kiddies swoon
Bury my talent in Auto-t-t-t-tune

(My 13-year-old helped a little.)

BTW, Pandora limits you to 6 skips per station, per hour. You can create as many stations as you like. So the skip limit isn't so much an issue.... ;)

Thanks for the link Denis.

Stupid lyrics. Solid arrangement.

Since the link in the OP is now dead, here's the one at Military.com.
