I was having a conversation like this online the other day, and it also came up here too IIRC. Our side laughs at and mocks our loons. The other side long ago made the choice that they can't laugh at their loons (where there's no truth, the victory goes to shouting the loudest and strength of conviction, and if there's one thing crazy people can do it's shout loud while being crazy with utter conviction) so instead they use them to stake out the forward edge of their positions, as it were. Where the loons lead, they follow.

It's a scary way to live, but they and their loons have taken an awful lot of fucking territory away from the cause of sanity, so maybe they're on to something.

I read it. Laughable. Meaning I laughed several times. This idiot needs to get out of his liberal enclave and see how the real world lives. I bet that he doesn't know any "people of color". His whiteness shines through like a glaring Q-beam spotlight. His whiteness causes me to squint.

What he doesn't understand is that nationwide, race-relations are at their lowest point since GW Bush left office, and we can lay that problem at Obama's feet. He's been dividing us racially for six years now. I don't have any problems with my co-workers, friends, or acquaintances that we can lay on race, because we know each other. But, there are huge divides among the races that are exacerbated solely as a result of our president.

White wounding, indeed. That's not a prescription for racial harmony, that's a prescription for violence. Pick a better metaphor. Simply, if you come at me intending to wound me because I'm white, you better have a route picked out to the nearest emergency room. This cracker don't play that shit.
