Quite so, which is only a former House Speaker, and half our Senate contingent. And they're from where, exactly? Thanks for proving the point. ;)
As for the other hordes, much like Asian driving stories, it's not a stereotype after the 5-millionth occasion, it's a documentary.

So tell me, how did Jerry Brown's two runs at the presidency do, and does the phrase "snort-worthy" come up much when you Google it?

The lefties really, really hate it when one of their own has a road to Damascus moment.

In 2009, a German journalist Jan Fleischhauer (sorry, site only in German) wrote a book call "unter Linken" ("among the leftists"), explaining why he could no longer support socialism, despite having been born and raised in a leftist family and working at a leftist newspaper.

He was excoriated in the press and news media, but his book was a huge success, giving conservatives belly-laughs, and lefties belly-ache.

Sonny Bono had a similar experience. After encountering all the redtape when he tried to start a restaurant, he became a conservative and part of that Contract With America, Republican Freshman Class in the mid 90s. Paul Harvey used to tell the story with the tagline: It took Big Government to make a Conservative out of a Hippie.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

I would feel your pain if only the overwhelming bulk of those $#!^heads hadn't come here from back where they came from, and like geese, tend to return to crap on their home territory. Most of this state has spent 70 years, in vain, bitching about those bastards recreating NFY, MA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, PA, and IL. Cry me a river.

Ask for a birth certificate before you go blaming "Californians" for the shenanigans of transplants from Blue State havens in 47 other states who become allergic to snow before plopping here long enough to befoul the place. (Oregon, call your home office.) I tend to figure anyone getting them is getting what they deserve, and wish them best of luck with the return of their toothless banjo-playing kinfolks.
Does the phrase 'critical mass' mean anything to you?

Other states send you paste eaters with moonbat potential. You send back full-blown fully developed mature virulent moonbats.

Like larval criminals need to spend some time in prison to learn how to be proper career criminals, larval leftist lunies need to spend time in the land of fruits and nuts to properly learn their craft. Without proper environments to fully nurture, develop and train moonbats (of which CA is the largest and most prolific, though definitely not the only) our current problem with moonbat infestation would be nowhere near so bad.

You're welcome! :P

Perhaps they'd learn to stop sending them, and then wouldn't have so much to fear from their return trip to the ancestral spawning grounds.

This is CA's fault like Hillary is from Arkansas.

Curious how one notes unmistakeable parallels between the distrust of outsiders in medieval times, the disdain for carpetbaggers in the late 1800's, and the current proclivity of the both the Left and cancer cells to nomadically and opportunistically infest any part of the host not vigorously defended by a healthy immune system.

Berkeley disease with it's right coast academic transplants had already metastisized through the State Ed system and into government by the time the Navy transplanted me to California. I reckon it'll have to get worse before it can get better -- "Detroit worse." I'm not sure how that can happen. Even with all the Left continues doing to break the State down California still has so much going for it I'm not sure it can get that low. Not just the geography but the natural resources (e.g. biggest natural gas reserves in the country waiting to be tapped + huge offshore oil reserves waiting to be developed).

Anyway...
I'll say it again to all ya'll in "solid" red states: clean your houses while you can. Your cute quirky college liberal town will refuse to be contained.

You listening Texas?

See that report of a Texas school book recently with the paraphrased 2nd Amendment that clearly changed it's meaning? That's Austin spilling out into your solid red "Friday Night Lights" neighborhood schools.

To the list of actors who have killed their careers by coming out as at least slightly conservative, I'll add Stacey Dash with her comments lately about Obamacare.

Texas going democrat blue will be a disaster for the country.

I think it's beyond time that we started using the Saul Alinsky tactics on the democrats. After all, our dear leader has shown us the way. And we all, including myself, need to start getting more involved in politics, at least locally. The more moonbats we keep from becoming library board members in their 20's, the less of them there are to run for higher office later. Mock them whenever possible, do everything you can to derail their electoral efforts prior to the actual race, like dear leader did to one of his opponents.

I understand that our California members would have many reasons for wanting to stay there, let's not bash.

There's a reason we used to have a sign on the California border telling people to visit but not stay. They may not be native to you, but that's hardly a comfort to us.

These are a comfort to me.
Would that it was the official state motto.
