Political cartoonist Ted Rall was laid off this week.

A weak government usually remains a servant of citizens, while a strong government usually becomes the master of its subjects.

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Years ago he actually had a show on KFI in LA. KFI, being a Clear Chanel station and the local home or Rush Limbaugh, was conservative, but it was fun to hear a guy with a bit different of an opinion. Back then he wasn't crazy, but boy did he love his 'Stans. He even organized several listener trips though the middle of Asia. However this was all before 9/11 and it looks like he went a bit...erm...crazy in the meantime.

Couldn't have happened to a bigger piece of shit.

Here's hoping he goes to drown his sorrows and ends up in a bar frequented by soldiers.

Absolutely, Kommander! I remember his radio show very well. At the time he was reasonable, calm, and very knowledgeable of the area.

Then, he apparently took a nine-hour bath in a slurry of LSD and cocaine, because he's a certifiable grade 9 a-hole now.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.
