RIP Marilyn Chambers.

Post by Rod »

Marilyn Chambers died yesterday at age 56 (12 days short of her 57th birthday). She was found by her daughter in her mobile home.

I would have thought that she would have done better over the years than to have ended up living in a mobile home. It's a shame...I always kinda liked her.

hey, there's plenty of days I'd trade what I've got for a mobile home.

I didn't mean to infer that living in a mobile home is necessarily a bad thing...although one must admit that it does carry a lot of negative connotations. I just find it odd that Marilyn didn't live in some posh condo somewhere. She made an awful lot of movies and later in her career she did a good bit of soft core stuff for Skinimax. And 56 sure ain't old...at least not these day anyway.

Usually the last person to make any real money from a porn flick is the performer.

Linda Lovelace was lucky to get out when she did, and then double lucky to regain a conventional lifestyle.

Marilyn Chambers, not so lucky.
