If we find the original vampire that gave us this "reality TV" craze and we kill it, does that mean its devilspawn like this and "American Pickers"/"Pawnstars" will also die?
Wasn't the original reality TV show Survivor?

I think Real World (I think that was the name of it) pre-dated Survivor, at least in Europe.

Funny thing is I thought Survivor sounded interesting, until I realized it was less about actually being able to survive and more about politics and doing BS challenges.

I thought it was Cops, if you define reality TV show as unscripted and no actual actors or plot.

I think MTVs The Real World is where things starting heading to the BS drama and backstabbing games route.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Divorce Court goes back to the '60s, if not further.

So its a two-fer; we get someone who accelerated our divorce culture and started reality TV? Are we sure this personisn't a vampire?
