I was playing "The Wall". Love her, but sometimes I think she was raised under a rock.
In fairness, there's some stuff on there that *is* kind of weird shit, to anyone who doesn't own the album (or the movie, there are a fair number of differences between the album and the movie music). Also it helps if you're at least 40.
Yeah, I suppose I might not have recognized it immediately myself; I can't remember exactly which song was on. And we're 25, so it's a bit before our time.

Try listening to or watching "Tommy."
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

I'd really rather not. I say that not because I'm unfamiliar with the material, but because I am.

I listened to it after enjoying one of their more mainstream offerings. What an eye opener.

Wires is probably the best(best scene, when they hand the guy walking in a flaming molotov  ), although the opening scene in "Hank is dead"(with the guy drinking beer in the shower! ) and he turns around and the two other guys from the band are standing there..
Yeah, and when they leave, his beer is gone. I'd say that is #3 best scene.

"Enjoy your diarrhea!" is one of the most underused lines in a video production.

The original album and the movie have a title and a few songs in common. Had I not been 13 or 14 when the movie came out, I might have been smart enough to avoid it.

If one must have a Ken Russell fix, Lair of the White Worm is a lot more fun. (Also, Quadrophenia is more consistently high quality than Tommy, but that's a tale for another time.)

What?!? Seeing Ann Margret lolling about in baked beans and chocolate didn't do it for you?
