Inspired by the country thread...the blues

If one was really, really good at negotiations, one could get a 7% on the back end of the Blues Devil's soul for a $5 Hot Topic gift card.

I got the impression he doesn't like contract negotiation and he really doesn't like people who read and stipulate against the fine print.

Years and years ago, I read a sci-fi short-short by, can't remember for sure, either Frederic Brown or Theodore Sturgeon, from the point of view of the devil. Everything was going wonderfully, until some nondescript guy walked in the door and made the following bargain for his soul:
"I wish that, without any change whatsoever in myself, I immediately become the most stupid, evil, and miserable person on earth."
And Satan screamed.

The guy sold his soul for no change in himself, but everyone on earth immediately became smarter, better, and happier than he already was.
