I really wanted to like this, I really did. I mean, kicking space Nazi ass, UFO battles, Laibach, Udo Kier and Julia Dietze, looks full of awesome. I support the hard work that was put in by everyone.
But....
There is no way in Hell in a closed society full of NAZIS that you'd get a character like Renate Richter. I'm sorry, but that nuked the fridge for me right there.
They did get it right later in the movie when they realized "The Great Dictator" is a waste of two hours of your life. That movie was like eating a great enjoyable meal, then for dessert washing it all down with some nice, chalky milk of magnesia. Go fig, Chaplain's Commie, peacenik sermonizing.
