Heavy Metal World Map - Chris & others?

This may interest you. I'm not much of a heavy metal guy (Metallica, and other "lighter" heavy metal, I guess you'd say) but I know Chris and others are very much fans of the genre.

Not surprised by northern Europe. A lot of good music is coming from there, in my opinion.

Is it a glitch in the map, or are they rockin' on in Bhutan?

Bhutan's grey. No metal data can be provided.

North Korea really needs to turn into NÖRTH KÖRËÄ, too.

It still reminds me of how you know you're truly metal: your consonants all have umlauts, too.

A guy at work (Tommy Keiser) played in Cobra and Krokus in the 80's. Swiss if I recollect.

Hmm, Greece appears to have a thriving metal scene, as does Estonia.

Come to think of it, A lone metal band visiting McMurdo would make it the most metal place on earth - not to mention the vid possibilities - "Live from Antartica!"

not completely a threadjack...

Just finished watching "Lilyhammer" season 1 on Netflix. Some good music in there. Some straight up funny stuff from Van Zandt acting too. Looking forward to next season.
