Just what you want flying into residential neighborhoods: the eight-rotored Drone Of Decapitation, which is a robotic liability lawsuit of 8 figures just waiting to happen the first time someone gets a face full of prop. Or when someone dies from diabetic shock when a drone plows into powerlines and causes a 5-state power failure. Note that a permit to operate 126 meters up is not the same thing as a license to make every square foot of territory (in the UK, or anywhere else) an ad hoc heliport.
The thought of them hover-dropping the pizzas and sodas from 500' reminds me of nothing so much as certain classic episode of
WKRP in Cincinnatti.

Once people know what that flying thing is, how long do you think it'll take before someone finds a bunch of bird shot in their pizza?

I dread having swarms of UAVs taking to the skies. Hitting one while flying in a light plane(C152, C172, Cub, etc) would be A BAD THING.

I'm seeing an STC marketing opportunity for "air vents" in the side windows of many light aircraft. I'm wondering what number of birdshot would give the best combination of terminal performance, and reduced chance of injury to people on the ground? Buckshot would probably be a bad idea, but maybe BB shot would be okay.
