Oh man.. as an Android user you just gotta love this. Sorry iPhone fans.

If you don't know already Apple has decided to replace the Google powered maps of the old Iphone map system with IOS6 maps and navigation of Apple's own proprietary software and data.

This hilariously ended in stuff like this...




I'm sorry but that's just a hilarious fail on Apple's part, more over they've been missing locations, lack absolute data, and their 3D map software algorithm results in Airports looking like this...



I think preparing for turbulence might be applicable.

Apple isn't using it's own data, but buying it from a variety of sources, notably TomTom. Of course, what they do with the data is another story.

Some of the other hilarity involved in this fiasco involved giving directions in Korean in Japan(yeah, I bet that went over well)and Dublin Airport mysteriously moved to a farm

That airport photo is making me think I shouldn't have taken that last hit of acid.

I think we flew into that airport back in the 70's. I was wondering what the pilots were swearing about.
