So the one interview I was most excited about went well I think... I dont normally come away from interviews feeling confident but I have a good feeling about this one. I will post more as it develops.

Recruiter called me this afternoon, they want to do a 2nd interview and are going to bring me down to Louisiana for it. For that quick of a decision to happen, I have a good feeling about this!

Good luck! I hope it goes really well, and you are their next VP of IT Operations, or equivalent. Fingers crossed for you.

That's about two hours south of Bossier City, where I grew up. Good luck.mekender wrote:I cant really even call it a city, it is a stop light... Florien, LA.

WTF is still in Florien where you could work? I thought the plywood plant was gone?mekender wrote:I cant really even call it a city, it is a stop light... Florien, LA.
EDIT: apparently not. http://www.bc.com/wood/Locations.html
As the crow flies it's about 55-60 miles from Alex/Pineville. By road, you take LA 28 west to Leesville, then US 171 north to Florien. About 75 miles total.Cybrludite wrote:Damn, far end of the state from me. Termite & PawPaw are roughly half-way between here & there.
