Go? Why? I have a US RIFLE, CALIBER .30, M1. Iran's only what, 12000 miles away? A few clicks up on the elevation, a few left to adjust for the jet stream, and I can hit the commie bastards from my front porch. No sweat.

Pfft what they're doing isn't so hard. All they did was take the design of the White Knight II in Auto Cad and hit x3 in all directions. :D
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

It could be worse. He could have used a 10mm. Course then there would be a new ocean where the middle east used to be. ;)

Why would that be a problem? It's not like we don't have folks that know off shore drilling. (Ohhh Termite...)

It looks like there would be some tremendous stress at the center of the wing. I imagine they would put the fuel tanks in the fuselage sections for simplicity of construction.

Weren't there some cases where they added fuel tanks into wings to reduce stresses during flight. Of course, in this case the tankage may only be added to the outer wings, not the center span.

But, not being a aeronautical engineer, I are ignorant on the subject.

I THOUGHT that capsule looked like a Dragon! So they have Elon in on this too? COOL! All they need to do is sell it to Bigelow. Then I WILL be mailing my resume. To all of them. Mrs. O will just have to deal.

And if a 10mm is fired out of a barrel longer than 5", say like out of a pistol-caliber carbine, then it's even more dangerous! It's why the FBI isn't allowed to carry the MP5/10 anymore.
