Recovering Files?

Post by The Wizard »

ok so im moving all the files off my old computer hard drive and putting them on a new HD, well my Western Digital 1TB hard drive proceeds to completely stop working, when i plug it in it takes forever to try and load and if it decides to, it not always does, it comes up as "local disk" and i cant do anything with it. it wont open anything on the HDD not even properties. i only really care about approx half the stuff on it but it would be nice to get everything back if possible, any Ideas?

If one of your roommates has a computer, try plugging into theirs. One with a different operating system may also help. Just a thought.
