I suppose a pile of those ubiquitous gel packs would work, too.

Wunst upon a time, I had an old tower computer that had gotten all full of dust and crap. And I had an old air charged fire extinguisher that, refilled, would be cheaper than a can of air. Charged the extinguisher and took it to the computer innards.

Oops. There was some old nasty water at the bottom that I sprayed all over my mother board.

Took it to work, and the IT guy said... "Hm. I wonder..." He took the mother board out and took it to the kitchen. Hot water, dish soap, and a scrub brush, then hang it up to dry.

Put it back together and it booted right up. He said the junk in the water shorts little components and when you get that cleaned off, the computer will boot right up.

That was the story that had me filling and rinsing several times. I figured there might be soap in there even if I dried it out.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

You have to deal with your 80-90% humidity.
Hereabouts this time of year, we can skip the rice.
I had a cellphone that got washed once, and after a coupla days on the windowsill, it recharged and fired right up again like new.

Jerky dehydrators work for wet electronics too.
