We use them in our stores - they work well in that application.

I do hope they make 100-watt equivalents soon that won't break the bank. I'm running low on my incandescents and I'm trying to preserve them for where I want light and extra heat.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

We bought a pair of 40W equivalents at Costco last year; I think they were Feit brand. Also a pair of 40W no-names at Menards and a Home Depot unit plus we've had a single GE PAR20 flood type that has three LED elements for 2+ years.
The GE PAR20 has been great; no problems at all. It does put out a narrow beam so its used to spotlight a picture on the wall while the other bulbs in the track (three CFLs and one other LED) provide room light. Recommended if you need a spot beam but not cheap.
The Costco FEIT; one is working fine in a ceiling light; the other is having trouble starting. It either stays off or flashes rapidly until you turn the switch off and on, sometimes several times. Once its on it stays on. The light color is a little cool for my tastes but it puts out a nice flood. The Home Depot bulb is in the tracklight also; despite not being designed for directional use we find it puts out as much light as one of the 50 watt equivalent PAR20 CFLs and has nice color. So far recommended.
