I should really pay more attention to calenders and such.

I've been so hyped up about the Kansas City gun show, that I forgot exactly what weekend it was scheduled for. So Saturday morning, I jumped in my car, drove about fifty miles in the middle of a rainstorm, only to find out that the show is next weekend.

Good thing I didn't bring anything to sell. This week, the KCI expo center was hosting a Homeschooling convention. :o

You know, there's a secret way to find out. ;)

Don't tell anyone I told you though. Very hushhush.

So is Yahoo, and between the two of them, it's like 90% of all websearches.

So what do you recommend, that works as well as Google?

Hotbot, Lycos, Altavista, webcrawler, I was once upon a time a serious computer geek and wrote a search engine , not particularly difficult and IIRC they are many more out there.
I was kinda wining, sorry lots of current crop of geeks are leftists morons and generate politically corrected result lists .

AltaVista is Yahoo!
HotBot searches lycos, yahoo, or msn.
Lycos seems to be something independent still.
WebCrawler searches yahoo, google, etc.

ChrisB nailed it.

Almost all of the "search engines" these days, are in fact, nothing more than Yahoo or Google with a different look and URL.
