We celebrated (belatedly) our 25th by going to a weekend marriage conference/workshop. Saturday night's assignment was to go out on a date

Welllllll, you might be a redneck if...

My wife got a nice outfit off the clearance racks while we were there. On her way through she grabbed me an Aloha shirt with Aircraft carriers and Naval aircraft too. Even humored me with a visit to the fine gun room and pretended to be interested/impressed. I didn't linger too long. Didn't want to push my luck.

I checked ammo, brass, bullet, primer stocks. Plenty on hand except for primers. All they had on hand was about 5-600 shotshell primers and a couple hundred each of large magnum pistol and std small pistol primers.

Don't know about powder inventory -- they just have sample bottles out and I didn't want to wait to ask a clerk.

Thing is, we went in there to look for some towing gear.
Funny how that happens........ 8-)

Bass Pro Shops are dangerous to men's wallets/credit cards/checkbooks.

This weekend my wife and I are meeting her cousin and her cousin's husband at Cabella's in CT (I WISH they'd open the one in NJ already, although it would be bad for the budget). I want to get some fishing gear (including a baitcasting rod and reel combo), and he's got a gift card burning a hole in his pocket. Full report to follow!

The Shreveport/Bossier Bass Pro is on the Louisiana BoardWalk, right next door to Joe's Crab Shack. ;)

My son is finishing up his studies at Arizona Culinary Institute and getting ready to start his apprenticeship. He's applied at the Bass Pro restaurant in Mesa.
