Medical update

Decided to get a physical done a few weeks back (never had one).

Results came back and I'm preg...no that's not it.

I've got a low Hematocrit score, so I'm basically anemic. Also got high cholesterol at 245, with the bad crap at 169 :( So it's low fat, low cholesterol food with an iron supplement for the next 3 months, after which I get tested again. Had oat bran on my cornflakes this morning. Not too bad, actually...

Let the slagging commence ;)

Funny thing is, I don't each much red meat. Then again, I wouldn't exactly have a great diet. For lunch at work it's usually some kind of Hormel bung-in-the-microwave effort.

Well you are the same age as my youngest son. Soooo eat a little more meat and put some blueberries on the oats, that should help. The chlorestel total score is not too bad. I know they want it below 200. Work out and all that crap.... Just try and take care of yourself...

A couple things -- A) grass-fed beef/venison/wild fish are your friend, so's grapeseed oil and grass-fed dairy.

B) Avoid transfats like the plague.

C) Flaxseed meal/oil is also a good idea.

Definitely go out and get some venison. It's health food!
