CONGRATULATIONS on your 25th!!

Where has the time gone??? One of my coworkers just had her 26th birthday, and it made me feel kinda' old remembering I had been out of the academy and on the streets a couple of years by then. That was back when I was in triathlete condition and could bench 425 - working out two hours before work and two hours after work.

Now look at me; my shoulders are a mess, so are my knees and I walk with a cane. I'd LOVE to have my 24 year-old body back!

Another month (April 1984) and I'll have my Honorable Discharge and make the mistake of marrying my first wife (high school sweetheart).

All the best to you and the Lady of the house!!!

Twenty five years of marriage is an amazing accomplishment of love, sacrifice, and endless compromise. Congratulations!

That's one way of making sure you don't forget your anniversary... Should I ever get hitched, I hope it would last so long! (in part because it would mean I was still on the right side of the grass... :? ) Congrats on the anniversary!

Congratulations!

I also remember 17 March 1984 (most of it)well, but for different reasons. In Korea during Team Stupid and hanging with some intel school buddies at their place downtown (beats hanging around a tent) for their party, watching some guys try to inject green die into a keg with a hypodermic because they forgot to put an order in early enough at the NCO club. Explaining St Patrick's day to ROK officers as we got drunker and drunker, and that blond female NCO with the custom fitted leather jumpsuit....

My equivalent of your memory didn't happen until June of '87

Per your blog:
"You have made my heart beat faster, my sister, my bride; You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes,With a single strand of your necklace.
You might be a redneck....
