Merry Christmas from Iraq

Post by g-man »

The day came and went quietly, which here is always a good thing. I got some pictures of the festivities at the DFAC and some decorations from various places around the FOB. See pictures here. Met up with oilcrash for coffee after dinner, and I think we'll still be well represented over here after I rotate back to the world. Just over a month left... not that I'm counting or anything.

Thanks for all the well-wishing and prayers over this year. It's been a really surreal experience being away from family for so long. I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas!

Looking forward to your safe return.

It surely beats trying to figure out what the metrosexuals want ( a good hard kick in the nuts in my opinion, but that won't sell ice cream :D )- Highspeed
