Just thought I would make a few of your mouths water with what I am making this weekend.

I am doing a food and wine pairing "dinner" this weekend. The dinner is a 5 course tapas menu. Four savory courses and one dessert course. Each course is paired with a 3 oz pour of the listed wine. It is a fundraiser for the Cancer Foundation Dawn works for and for my Rotary Club's foundation. The money is split 50 / 50.

Price is $65 for a ticket. Last year we netted +/-$7300.

Precision, you are sick, and twisted, to post that and most of us unable to attend.

Come and do that at RR 2014. Then see who shows up!

I never said I wasn't sick and twisted.

The only problem with your theory, is I haven't been able to make that event. :D

So, what would it take to enable you to attend that event?

Speaking of which, I would like to attend.

I would need the funds, the time, blessing from my wife and a receptive food audience to scarf down my art. I live in the very southern East Coast. So it is NOT cheap to get there and I would need to fly with at least some of my cooking tools and some shooting toys, or (shudder) drive.

Couldn't you just Fed-Ex them back and forth? That's what I do with musical instruments, now, on cross country treks.

I hate you so much I'm not even going to open your stinking attachment.

But I seriously think we need to organize a Louisiana shoot where you and PawPaw and whoever else cooks can compete to win our affections.

I'm not kidding. I'd move some small mountains to get to something like that.

You know, if you want to be REALLY sick and twisted, you'd take photos and post them to go along with the descriptions.

I'd pay to attend that event (depending on the dress code)!!

Dress code is Roaring 20's.

The wife is going to be there with her good camera. I will make sure she takes pics and I post them up.
