Itch when working out?

I just came back from a prematurely-ended run. I couldn't even make it 3/4 of a mile without having to slow down to a walk because I started itching like crazy. I can't find any rashes or other marks and it's over most of my upper body. It seems to go away once I can stop and rest for a bit, but the initial "breakout" is pretty brutal. I'm about to head back out and see if it happens again, or if it's just something that starts up once and then will leave me alone.

I suspect I'm slightly allergic to the cat, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Don't work out. You're obviously allergic.

The thought had occurred. I don't think that'll work on the TIs, though.

It does seem to be not nearly as bad after the initial itching passes. I'd test run further, but the mayor's house caught on fire. No, really.

I guess that expalins why you were running then.

Don't think that boot camp will save you from the long arm of teh law when you torch the mayor's house. :D

Grab a bar of Lava soap and give that a shot.

Interesting; I'll give it a try.

A) Once I started working out, I switched to natural detergents, unscented, natural soaps, etc -- your pores will suck in a bunch of stuff, and you'll become much more sensitive

B) I would itch occasionally after a workout, but not that severely -- could you have ran through some kind of pollen, etc?

First week of August. Soonest I could ship out was Nov. 25th, though. It's weird... when my brother joined the Army, he was on a plane to basic in about a week.

Good luck and thanks for your service.

The reason is that the Air Force only has one basic training place.

The Army has a lot of them.
