Hi, there. I'm the "Kim" and "KDT" referred to in earlier posts.

No, I don't miss blogging, and no, I'm not going to start blogging again. Ever.

But I will pop in here from time to time, just to keep in touch with old friends...

Oh, and despite the pic, I've lost 40lbs since my surgery last year, with about another 30 to go.

Kim, looks like "retired" life is being kind to you.

Just stop by every once in a while with a rant or two. Keeps us on our toes.

Don't for get the yelling. Every old french dude I've ever seen on TV seems to like to yell.

Who is this guy? Sorry, welcome stranger. If you ever need any help learning about guns and politics, just let us know.

Kim, you're looking good & healthy!! What's Connie going to do with your higher level of strength and energy (and better sleep) since losing the some of the extra weight??

Are you scaring the kids yet? :-)

Seriously, you're looking good!

I'm just an Okie that works in the aviation industry that doesn't make it to the range often enough.
Just thought that I would reintroduce myself. I kind of dropped off the radar for awhile to recharge and spend time with my wife and kids.

Thanks for the offer Jennifer but I haven't been to OKC since I graduated OSU in 99. I usually go to my parent's place to use the family range but I am looking into joining a local club around Tulsa.

A little about myself:
Electrical Engineer that ended up specializing in aviation. Specifically in the areas of certification (still learning here), electrical systems, navigation, warning systems, etc. I have been shooting as long as I can remember but I have really enjoyed some of the gun forums for the wealth of knowledge that is available. It really wasn't until my second daughter was born before I realized that I was not prepared to defend my girls. Let me tell you, that was an eye opener.

Anyway, I plan on trying to post a little bit more. Usually by the time I check the forum, everything that needs to be said has already been said and said better than I could.

Anyway, time to play with an aircraft. Remember, anyone can let out the magic smoke but getting it back in...

Hi all,

My name is Ken, and I've been following this crowd through all the various domain names for years. I mostly just read, but once in a great while I've posted.
I'm in college for Aviation Science (two more years left) and shooting is my favorite hobby.

You people have been indirectly responsible for me buying many guns and bringing ~ a dozen people onto our side of the gun issue through either range trips or knocking down their uninformed arguments. I live in Massachusetts, which is a target rich environment when it comes to converts. You would be downright surprised at the number of COLLEGE STUDENTS in this state that are receptive to the idea of gun ownership.

I wouldn't claim to have a lot of life experience, but I've moved around the state 4 times in the past two years, usually living by myself. I've experienced friendly middle class neighborhoods, but I've spent enough time in the bad parts to develop a distaste for the class of people that would rather use drugs, commit crime and live off the government. I've held a job and did my patriotic duty by allowing the government to take a third of my check.

Anyways, I hope to continue to be informed and entertained by you fellow gun nuts long into the future, and I will contribute to the site where I can.
