It is Brass Monkey's here. S'posed to be getting better soon. My f#ck I can't wait for the glob-all warming to hit....and because of the Ruskies, the price of natural gas is on the rise.

Missin' the US even more......

I dunno about in Berlin, but there's all sorts of global warming covering the ground in Utah, if you want to come see it!

We have about four inches of global warming here in Brussels, too. It's not been above freezing for a week, which is most unusual. Mrs Denis and I are getting great entertainment value out of our bird-table, bird-bath and feeders.

Greetings, and my apologies for not having visited sooner.

Apologies also for not being able to read the preceding six pages of profiles and introductions. I will get to it soon though!

I'm well and above ground. Sadly though, the New Dawn is no more, washed ashore and destroyed by Ike. Seven years aboard, and now she's more of a landlubber even than me, for I shall one day return to the sea, and she will soon meet the breaker's yard.

Bitterly clinging to my guns and religion, I've been stockpiling ammo against the day when it's no longer there to be had. Hope that's later than sooner.

Also, I'm out of the car gig (at last!) Great timing, too. I'm in H.R. with a U.S. Top 50 Insurance Firm here, and yes, I know where the jobs are. Those of you especially in I.T. with a bent to living on the Texas Gulf Coast oughta drop me a line.

The rest? That's for more posting, later. I'm neck deep in rebuilding a house here, too.

Good to be back, y'all.

Great to hear from you Jim!
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Jim - good to have you here. Hope you will be able to make it to Austin for CC's Second Annual Shooting Fiesta in March.
