Just did a quick check of my company for Idaho (Idaho Falls, right?), and nothing. I'll pull a more detailed check when I get to work tomorrow, see if the internal board has anything.

+1. I once got a very good job offer indeed from a global mega-corporation on the basis of a conversation I had with a random neighbour over lunch at a professional seminar. I wasn't even job-hunting at the time. You just never know.

Other than that, best of luck - unfortunately, I have no contacts or expertise in your line of work.

Thanks guys.

I thought I needed to revamp my resume. That's one reason why I figured I would air it out here.

Well I will see what I can do.

Have you considered hiring a consultant to help prepare you for interviews?

I hope you live close to Boise (grin).

One thing to watch out for, there are a lot of fake job ads posted to CL. They are farming for clients, information, etc. If you reply by e-mail and express an interest in a job, and you get back an e-mail application for an employment service, don't follow up. They will send you a bunch of spam about furthering your education by applying to such and such college. Move on to the next ad.

Check USA Jobs. There are real non-political jobs. Or the DA civilian job site, or the USAF site...

Or Northrup-Grumman, or SAIC, or CACI. Tons of contractors working for the government, especially the military, all good people doing good work.

Moose, how far are you willing to travel?

Well I would like to stay in Idaho, but with this economy who knows where I might need to go.
