Many congratulations, and all the best to mother and son!

Congrats and enjoy, grandpa!
A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

Stopped by the local providers place of business this morning. Fingerprinted a Stevens Favorite. A little pricey, but this is the only shop in town. Nice. Acquire a second stock to cut down for a young lad and keep the original for later on down the line.

Local ELGS coming up next weekend. Gotta start searching under the sofa cushions.

Shhhh, don't anyone tell Grandma Rumpshot what I am up to. :D

It will cost you a box of rimfire per week for our silence! Of course I know that's blackmail.

I had an old Mossberg target gun that I cut 1" slabs off the butt after having drilled three holes nearly the length of the stock...When the girls were small, the middle four were removed and the three dowels held they butt cap to the rest of the stock and as they grew older, larger and with longer arms, we would add another middle piece and then another until it was whole again...This way they always had a proportional frame to their size/age...
There is a certain type of mentality that thinks if you make certain inanimate objects illegal their criminal misuse will disappear!

That's Ok, I figure I can shoot a box of rimfire per week. That was what you meant wasn't it?

Would it be okay if I shoot my flintlock Trade Gun tomorrow in lieu of the box of rimfire?
