Hope everything turns out well. Don't push yourself, it'll take longer to recover.

My shoulder issues are still present, flared up a little recently. Strangely, Ibuprofen actually helps now :)

Well, everything went pretty much as planned on Wed., except the surgery was about two hours instead of the 45 minutes that was originally planned. Doctor said that there was more damage than showed in the x-rays, so now I have a total of 11 staples in my shoulder, instead of the 6-8 that are normal. Repaired rotator cuff, removed some bone spurs, and cleaned up some "impingement", a souvenir of my younger and wilder days.

PT on Thurs. was "interesting". But it's getting better, a little more pain-free movement every day, and The Boss has decided, based on the fact that I managed to shower, shave, brush my teeth, and get dressed for church unaided, that she can safely leave me alone to go visit her daughter in Hawaii.

Thanks for the advice and good wishes.

Good to hear that you are doing well. Been there done that, fell off a truck helping my son move. Yeah it's amazing that you can get moving in a few days. It will take awhile to get up to full speed if you are in a physical job or one that requires heavy lifting or moving. Good Luck ;)
