Meh. Get a deep fryer and a pastry filling widget, and you can have the paczykis anytime you feel like it. It takes rather longer to make a co-ed from scratch and, unless you're in Arkansas, it's generally preferred that you not make them for your own use... :lol:

And this is why I go to the parades in the 'burbs, and not in the city itself... :roll: (And what does it say about me that this gets a :roll: instead of a :o ?)

Ok, now the parade route shooting gets a :o . It seems my niece was half a block away from it, and saw the whole thing. :evil: WTF? It used to be that violence at Mardi Gras was limited to when different groups of Mardi Gras Indians ran into each other, and that was off the parade routes and didn't involve bystanders. And even that hasn't happened in decades. This recent trend of shootings at parades is not a good thing. The remains of the folks who did this need to turn up tied to a stump in a swamp, having been left for the 'gators.
