first shooting class

The place for beginners, or anyone else, to talk about gun, gear, and shooting topics with a minimum of jargon and/or geekery. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask that blows up in your face later.

first shooting class

Post by AndytheAxe »

I'm going to my first real training class in May. It'll be a four day MAG-40 class. Other than the obvious pistols, ammo and luggage, anything you guys recommend I take? My car's a Miata so I don't have a ton of trunk space. It's a bit over an hour from home so I'm going to get a hotel in town rather than drive that distance twice a day.

Spares of everything on the list from the website you so that you don't have to make an emergency run home or have to buy it locally (things like spare ear and eye protection etc. Spare gun handy but not always practical)

Spare footwear and rotate them day to day, especially if wet from rain, or from sweat if a hot day.
