Turret Press
From GunCounter
A tool for reloading fired cases to be used as ammunition
A turret Press has a single case station.
Various dies are mounted in a rotating turret above the case holder.
Perform a function for metallic cases: decap/resize, prime, powder charge, bullet seating, crimping (if doing that) and rotate to the next die.
The case stays in one place, only one case is operated on at a time. One pull of the handle performs one operation on one case. 3-4 pulls of the handle for one completed round. Think of it as series production. The turret press can also be used in batch production as a single stage press would be used, and upon completion of one operation on the entire batch, the turret can simply be rotated, which precludes the need for removal, installation, and readjustment of the reloading dies. With the purchase of additional turrets, multiple caliber setups can be maintained, so that once set up, the dies will only need to be readjusted when altering the load.
