Progressive Press
From GunCounter
A tool for reloading fired cases to be used as ammunition.
A Progressive press has multiple case locations dies are fixed and the cases are rotated from station to station.
Each operation (for metallic cartridges: deprime, size, prime, powder charge, bullet seating, Crimping(if done) is performed on a case with each pull of the handle. So one pull of the handle can perform 3 or more simultaneous operations on individual cases. 3-4 pulls of the handle for one completed round. Think of it as parallel production, analagous to a bottling machine.
Check out this link for discussion of different types of presses, with pictures.
