Bullet Seating

A stage of the reloading process where the bullet is installed in the mouth of the case. This is done using a bullet seating die in the reloading press, which must be adjusted to the desired seating depth.  This determines the overall length (OAL) of the finished cartridge. Most seating dies can also be set up to perform the crimping operation either simultaneously with seating, or as a separate operation.
