Let's hope the rally this weekend in VA doesn't turn into a media win for the Left -- and that the good guys don't enthusiastically play into the right wing nut/racist stereotypes that play so well in the media.

An assembly setting up a liberty pole with dunce cap atop and a sack of feathers and bucket of tar at the base on the capital steps to be preferred to a bunch of white southerners with nooses.

Antifa will be there marching with the pro gun side, so I am not hopeful.

I heard on the radio that all was peaceful and there were no reported arrests.

It seems to have gone without a hitch. Evidence of the abbe Corneal's aphorism*?

(*"the special providence over the United States and little children." Later altered and attributed, apparently falsely, to Otto von Bismarck as "G_d has a special providence for fools, drunkards, and the United States of America.")

I see where Northam is now taking credit for “de-escalating” the “situation” that he and his bunch are creating in the first place.

If gunowners were who Gov. Blackface McInfanticide thinks they are, he'd have done the Tyburn jig a few hours ago. *spit*

Well, 20K+ people armed with heavy, military grade weaponry, high capacity magazine-clips full of hyper-lethal cop killer freedom seeds, and shoulder things that go up, descended on Richmond yestiddy, and no one got dead.
