Knife control

Post by D5CAV »

About 20 years ago, when UK went all-in on gun confiscation, saying knife control was next sounded like tin-foil-hat territory.

Now it's being seriously considered: https://reason.com/2019/10/07/the-u-k-m ... f-england/

Most of the WW2 vets I knew are dead now. The next one I see above ground, I'll ask if he thought it was worth it, or whether we should have just sold Higgins boats to the Germans and spent the profits on some good German beer.

Just like the old song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsLhNxzwK1Y
All the stories have been told, of days and kings of old, but there's no England now.
All the wars that were won and lost somehow don't seem to matter very much anymore.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
