It has occurred to me, if they institute a ban on pistol arm braces, those of us with registered SBRs should put braces on them and troll public ranges.

Except that pistol braces are expensive. G3 stocks...aren't.

Nolocontendre is saying the rumor isnt a rumor, its been floating around for at least a month at this point. He also stated that he expects binary triggers to be the next target.

It's an SBRed PTR-91 that uses a $20 G3 stock. The cheapest pistol braces come in at three times that or so.

Honestly when I suggested we should all brace our SBRs, it hadn't occurred to me that anybody here would have SBRed a G3. I am going to get an SBA3 that goes directly over a standard buffer tube for the purpose in case the ban comes about, but I was planning to build a pistol anyway.

Amazon made selling GHW mod 1 and Mod 2 braces against their rules. I have some in hand if anyone wants some. Will need to get permission to officially advertise them. Who do we ask for such permission?
