Monster Hunter: Guardian by Larry Correia and Sarah Hoyt
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Not looking for any spoilers, but is that one about Julie after she gets her tattoo?
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Well, since IIRC she got it in the first MHI book, then yes.

It takes place concurrently with Monster Hunter: Siege. Not really a spoiler as it's in the description on Amazon; Evil creature kidnaps Julie and Owen's infant son. Yeah, that's a GREAT idea! What could go wrong?

Speaking of monster-hunter books, I've found a leather-bound, acid-free-paper, gold-embossed, silk end-papers, copy of Herman Melville's "Moby Dick". Published by Easton Press, Norwalk, Connecticut. New condition. $12.00 at the local boutique-style flea-market. I've seen the movie; time to visit the source.

Reread 'Children No More' by Mark van Name. Best of the series, imo.

Starting to reread 'Armor'. I do that every so often. "I always get through. Damn me."

Glen Cook
Instruments of the Night

Just started, it's getting deep and I'm remembering why I stopped reading high fantasy.
I know it's based on a condensed version of actual history but wow.

Just finished Monster Hunter Memoirs: Grunge and Sinners. (Randy is an instigator.)

On to Undaunted Courage. I've read it before, but I enjoyed it, so I'm reading it again.
