Stately McDaniel Manor (a generally interesting read) has been covering this since the beginning.
I'm a bit surprised he was convicted in MN. They're generally kookie, but I think they got this one right. Based on all I read, it's pretty hard to imagine they'd do differently, but you never know with a jury.

The one thing I don't get is how they convicted on both 3rd degree murder (which doesn't even exit under Texas law) AND manslaughter. The manslaughter I get "recklessly causes the death of an individual." Based on the limited amount I know about the case, that seems to be the right fit under the law.
