Never, ever break concentration when running a chefs knife. Managed to shave a quarter of my index finger nail off, luckily without doing anything more permanent.

Hurts like a son of a bitch. Lesson learned. Even smart ass darling daughter was telling me I shouldn’t have done that.

Recently acquired a Powerstroke 7.3 Diesel SuperDuty.
So I did what everyone does these days and joined some Facebook groups specializing in that.

50% people who don't understand that a diesel truck isn't a Honda and you can't drive it like one.

50% people who think the first thing you do when you get a vehicle is try to re-engineer the entire thing better than the manufacturer did originally, because what do they know compared to a YouTube certified mechanic with a thousand followers and a good Marketplace rating?

So 50%of the posts are people with problems who then unleash a barrage from the parts cannon and still can't fix anything because they didn't do any actual diagnosing, they just threw parts at it in the order that they saw them online.

So they spent thousands of dollars on the truck. More thousands of dollars removing original equipment, bypassing things, eliminating other things, adding extra things. Then more thousand dollars in parts.
Then it's like, these trucks are junk, and they buy something else.
Frustrating.

The 6.4 Powerstroke-centric forums are the same way. At least the 7.3 doesn't suffer from the emissions nightmares of the newer motors. There's a whole arsenal's worth of parts available for these guys' parts cannons...

The only things I've 'improved' on my '08 were swapping the worn-ass shocks for some Bilsteins, slightly modifying the DPF to limit backpressure and then reprogramming the ECU accordingly. It's rated to pull 12.5k stock, and my trailer is rated at 9900lbs, so it's near impossible for me to overload the thing (especially having swapped from a toy-hauler to a regular TT - MUCH less cargo room).

The OEM sights on an SWD M11/Nine are bad.

Zytel mags are bad.

I've got the Max 11 Mk. II, not the Max-31.

Youtube appears to have removed a channel about exposing stolen valor, purportedly because he was the one who exposed Nathan Phillips as a fake.

The funniest things are watching the progression from new powerstroke owner, to what mods can I do, to how do I fix what I blew up, to I just bought a dodge Cummins truck and got rid of this powerstroke.
