I bought my first pistol in Montana about a week ago. It's really weird when there's only one form to complete to buy a pistol.

Free states may not be truly free, but put the others to shame anyway.

It was odd only doing a 4473. In Washington, there's a DOL form, too.

They're like 2 years backlogged on those.

Alabama still has to do the 4473 for firearm purchases, but if you have a CCW permit, they don't have to call it in. Pay for it, fill out the form, and leave.

Haven't been in Montana long enough to get my CWP yet. Once I get that, they won't even have to phone it in.

Watching Secret Life of Pets (daughter's favorite movie that I can stand watching more than once a month) with the dogs in the house is unintentionally hilarious.

The big mutt stares at the tv and barks through the entire movie. The chihuahua walks over to him, growles, and nips at his neck to get him to shut up.

They also make a version in .460 S&W, that will also (I think) handle .454 Casull, and .45 LC. Price tag is similar, if not slightly higher.

Give the demands that The Minions make on my toy fund, I think I'll just stick to my M-92 clone in .45 LC.
