New-ish Shooter Report

The place for beginners, or anyone else, to talk about gun, gear, and shooting topics with a minimum of jargon and/or geekery. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask that blows up in your face later.

New-ish Shooter Report

Post by Frosch »

He was not a total noob. Being a Texan, he had shot a .22 in childhood. (We're
like the Spartans, we make our children handle weapons.)

Still, nothing since then. We warmed up the GP-100. When he fingerprinted it a few
nights ago, he immediately said, "Ooh, that feels good." He was not disappointed
in its actual performance. We also ran some .22 through the Buckmark.

All this was pursuant to getting a .38 spl or .357 revolver this Christmas. (He had already
come around.) In the event, he got a .357 snubbie at the ELGS.

Groovy. Reds? If he wants to try out Colt and S&W revolvers I can accommodate, as well as other snubs...

Edit: Huh... Well the snubs was going to be my post on all those snub nosed revolvers and how they stack up that I made, but it seems the forum ate it....

Really? My son was trucking around [the house, of course] yesterday with my Cz-50 in an original Czech Police holster. He's 8, so the smallness of the grip fit him well. He liked it.

That's why you have to archive your work.

Yes! If only there were some place to place stuff like that for permanent access!
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
